GOA has always been the most popular beach destination and specially for those from Mumbai for its proximity. As we are all aware that GOA has opened for tourists after the COVID-19 lockdown. All hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions are eagerly waiting to welcome all the travellers to this beautiful destination.
However, what is important to note carefully are certain rules set by the GOA Government. Any traveller not adhering to these rules will not be allowed to enter the state.
So, lets look at the rules that one needs to follow before planning your travel to GOA:
1) Carry a negative COVID-19 certificate that has been conducted over the past 48 hours. Else, travellers will have to get tested in Goa for the same.
2) Anyone testing positive for Coronavirus would either have to go back or stay in quarantine in Goa until their test result is declared.
3) Travellers need to pre-book their stay at a hotel that has been approved to operate by the tourism department.
4) Travellers with bookings in a non-approved hotel or homestay will not be allowed, and the same would be deemed illegal.
Let us all follow these rules and have a pleasant stay in GOA with our family and friends. Also hope that more and more destinations open soon for us to travel across the country.
